Wow your chickens are at a good price! Here in Canada we pay that much for one regular chicken not even cage free!

@love4all55 I'm not sure where he is, but in Washington state I have gotten them cheaper at Fred Meyer. Reminds me to pay attention to the sales, so I can put a couple in the chest freezer.

I've frozen that way before, but never thought of seasoning beforehand - really allows the flavors to be absorbed! Next Fred Meyer sale, I'm stocking up for the winter. Thank heavens for a chest freezer!
