My first IP didn't have a start button so I forget to push it on my 2nd IP. Then I have to go through the whole set up again.

I'll one up you. You start your pot, walk away, do the housecleaning while the pot does it's thing, get to the sink and the dishes only to see the thawed chicken which is supposed to be cooking, still in the bowl and not in the pot.

Never have that problem in newer pots, they automatically seal when you close the lid.

I'm too paranoid to walk away. I'll hang out until it seals. The pin of my 3 quart sometimes needs a tap to seal.
