Using the Broiler/Dehydrating Rack in Duo Crisp Air Fryer: Tips and Experiences?

Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone of you use the broiler / dehydrating rack in their duo crisp air fryer? I've looked at a number of You Tube videos and all of them had the food on the bottom, not using the rack. I haven't dehydrated anything. Also, can you cook food on the bottom of the basket AND on top of the broiler rack at the same time. Thanks for your help and information.

Yes you can use both…I do it all the time! It does work best if you rotate the layers and I have found that using my Ove Glove (as seen on tv, lol!) makes it easy to lift that tray without getting burned. In general you’ll want to use the broiler tray for things that you want to cook closer to the heat.

Yes, I've done chicken thighs in both positions at the same time. Both came out great. No rotating either.

For dehydrating there are some basic things that make what you DH safe and long lasting. I'd look at books and into FB groups first to get the basics.
