Instapot Locked Up After Switching to Pressure Mode

Push the pin down with a chop stick (make sure it is not pressurized since hot steam will burn you). Then turn the lid while pushing the pin in
 
Do not plug it back. Try temperature...allow pot to room temperature then in fridge for 4-6 hours, then try to open. Use a rubber/nylon hammer, tap in direction to open, side to side, not up and down. That might break the seal, if not, hit it harder.
 
I would let everything completely cool down then try opening again. Give it a couple hours. Then push down gently on the lid while turning it. I wouldn’t recommend putting it in the refrigerator. If any condensation accumulates from the warm pot on a cold frog it could damage the electronics
