When I realized I could cut apples and toss in the pot and use the immersion blender I have not peeled an apple for applesauce since! Nobody even noticed the difference, they still gobble it up!

I don't add any water just some vanilla and cinnamon. The vanilla is a nice switch up giving it a little creamy flavor.

@dlang10 I love that My mother used to make it like that and I loved it. Unfortunately, I’ve developed an allergy to red hots or anything with capsaicin in it.

I made “peach ginger apple sauce” and it was AMAZING. Just added some peaches & some ginger & it was fab .
