If you are a cheese cake fan please make the cheesecake #17. But to make it even better….
Make the berry sauce on the stovetop
I used 1 cup water 1 cup sugar
Stir and add 2 TBS unsalted butter
2 good splashes of vanilla
Pinch of coarse sea salt
3/4 pint of red raspberries
3/4 pint blackberries
Over medium heat bring to a boil
Stir
turn off heat. Use a stick blender to blend
Let cool in a mason jar (because I put everything in a mason jar)
Now you can absolutely strain it to get seeds out but I didn’t. Because I truly couldn’t find my fine strainer spoon metal thing.
Just because people say cheesecake is picky…doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try it!!! There are no three strikes and your are our cheesecake rule! Try it all!!!!
And now I have extra berry sauce for crepes or pancakes or ice cream!

I just ordered the "official" springform pan today. C'mon Amazon!! I wanted to make this today but my pan didn't fit my 8 qt--I guess I have big springform pans. Who knew? That looks so yummy.

Where did you get the recipe for the cheesecake #17? Your berry sauce sounds awesome too! Thanks for sharing.
