IP Slow Cooker Fail: Lasagna Soup Edition - Crunchy Onions but Perfect Noodles!

I always sauté onions if I want them soft, in any recipe. You get so much more flavor out of them that way! For this recipe in particular, you could have just thrown them in with the meat!
 
From my experience yes you have to cook it on high but you also need to put you stock/water in boiling or bring it to the boil with sauté then change to slow cook, it works well for me with boiling liquid, I usually do lamb that way and it’s fall of the bone ready.
