This is my first post here but I’ve learned a lot from your posts. I’m in the process of getting floors in my whole downstairs and new kitches counters so I’m living upstairs until they finish. Furniture and kitchen cabinets needed to be moved and emptied out.
Tonight I was able to make spaghetti in my Instant Pot. What I learned about this whole experience is to make sure you leave out everything you need to cook in the IP, including the recipes, measuring tools and spices where you can get to them. Also large utensils and pot holders. I had to dig for them out from under my furniture.

Great first lesson! The IP will make you organized for sure! Yes - have everything ready before your start. I measure, chop, peel, etc when I am ready to cook - and organize it into the steps in the recipe so I can grab it quickly. The IP has organized my prep in a way I haven’t done it for many years. And —- I clean up as I prepare or while the IP heats up. Makes prep and clean up easy peasy.
