My Lux is still going strong after more than 5 years but I don't use it every day. The IP doesn't make everything I eat but it does make the lion's share of it! I prefer the older, more basic models like the plain Duo. I like my Lux, and when I got it back in 2018 like you probably did I learned that you can't put the lid into the handles on it! I'd seen it done plenty of times and that's when I learned there was more than one IP model!
