Instant Pot Rio Sealing Issues: How I Fixed It and Improved Cooking Time

I got my Instant Pot Rio the other day. I did the water test last night and it wouldn’t seal. So today I lifted the back where it hides the pressure etc. it isn’t sent with everything in place. Tape etc needs removed and the black thing that holds the pressure needs put in place etc. fyi for anyone having trouble with it not coming to pressure! It works great now. I love it. It heats up faster because there is more surface that is being heated. I cooked in my 8 quart and the Rio wide plus the same time. It was way faster.

@tmoe1122 maybe do a search on here for the rios. Maybe someone posted about it. . I should have said I was sautéing. That was why it was faster. Idk about pressure cooking yet.

@jedc42 I have the 7.5 Rio wide plus. All the other instant pots I’ve bought in the past were assembled too.
