@logical_lutheran I have removed that, I am going to wash it and do the water test today. Is your lid difficult to open and close though? I feel like I have to force this one to turn.

@princehere no, not really. It is automatically switching to sealed when you close the lid. That might give a bit more resistance

 Mine was a little harder to turn. Make sure you lift up the lid on the quiet whisper thing and takeoff that sticker and do the test right away as I had to return my first one it wouldn’t come to pressure.  Now that I have one that works I love it.

I have noticed that my Duo Evo Plus lid is harder to put on, but it has loosened up a bit over time.

I have the same instant pot. I have found that if I wet my finger and run it around seal it seals better. I then push down on lid as I turn it. When it has been preheating for 15 min then I press down on lid without turning and it immediately comes to pressure. I like this one because you don't have to touch the vent to open it and it vents away from you.
