Instant Pot Models: Duo Plus 9-in-1 vs. Rio Wide Base 7-in-1 – What's the Difference?

@abeazishar so, this is a newer model of instant pot pressure cooker, yes? I have their original. If so..i wonder if they have improved on the slow cooking function as most did NOT like how it worked on original pressure cooker.??

Does yours have 9 in 1 and is wide?
I have the 6 quart duo from 2015! I love it but was thinking of getting another one too when I am cooking 2 things!
Confused between the RIO and the DUO!

@kedgre Yes I have the 9-1 Rio Wide plus. Love it. There seems to have been some confusion on the name Duo vs Rio. They are the same. The real name is Rio Wide Plus. I love it, the shape and the performance.

@abeazishar does it sterilize? I assume the insert is different shape now. How for the height compare with the original? Do you know?

@kedgre Don’t know about any sterilization feature. The height is a little lower but wider.
