I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom, but what a wonderful way to honor her. We lost my mother-in-love (she would never call it 'law') around the same time and, for her, it was Scottish shortbread. Since she'd entrusted me with her recipe years ago, I made a big batch for her celebration of life. People couldn't stop talking about her and her shortbread! ❤
