Best Container Options for Making 1 Quart of Yogurt in an Instant Pot

What do you use as a container to make yogurt in your Instant Pot? My yogurt recipe makes 1 quart. A quart jar is too tall and Pyrex quart measuring cup is too wide because of the handle. Is there a glass/ceramic bowl or jar that you have found that will fit in the Instant Pot liner?

I just make cold start in the liner and put plate on top. Let run 8 hrs

I make it in my liner. Then transfer it to strain after it sits in the fridge overnight

Just make it in my pot and cause I make curries I do a vinegar pressure cook the night before

I just pour everything in the liner -cold start- close the lid without closing the valve.

@faithandfumbleswriter You don't need to. I don't even use that lid. I bought the glass lid that fits it but you could use a plate or anything.

I just make it directly in the pot

I use my 3 qt for yogurt, cold start. Mix it all up and divide between 8-4 oz jelly jars. Staggered in the pot in two rows. Perfect serving size.

@eddietaylor09 many people don't and it comes out fine but you also can, and some say that it helps the temperature remain constant. I do put a cup of water in when I do it in jars.
