@manbearpig79 that would be an extreme option. There are many solutions as opposed to discarding a pot of food. This is why the water test is pointless, especially for troubleshooting a burn notice.

@d_parfozzi I’ve had this too and it was with whole potatoes, carrots and a sweet potato. Homemade dog food, usually no problems but lately it’s been acting up

@d_parfozzi one time I was making a Mexican rice recipe (just rice, tomato sauce, broth, and seasonings).
Last night I was making a noodle stroganoff (had plenty of liquid because I added more than what the recipe called for)

@nasanna that's probably why. Tomato based products trigger the burn and should be layered on top of other ingredients

Did you mix a tomato based sauce or other thick sauce with the thin liquid?

@yoshifootgirl Yep. I put any tomato based product on top without stirring till it’s done pressure cooking.
