Eggs in the IP, y’all. I whipped up the 5-5-5 method again and it’s perfect

👏
! ‘Tis Eggscellent!
1 cup of water
dozen or less eggs
5 mins high pressure
Relax for 5 mins, release and remove
Soak in the ice tub for 5 mins
It also tickled my creative spot and I made a T-shirt for my shop.

@phlyarologist Yep! Eggs were my first cook. It’s easy and quick.
I have seen some folks going rack-less using a lower number of eggs, but I’ve never tried it. You can also use the wire rack that came with the IP. My next favorite thing to IP is frozen chicken. So quick!

I love the IP for eggs. I've done 36 at once in mine, when I needed to make a bunch of deviled eggs.

@stephen583 I season to taste. I use
1/2 mayo and 1/2 Miracle Whip
Mustard
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Celery salt
Pepper
Pickle juice from bread & butter pickles
Top with chipotle paprika for a little kick

Ive done 20 just stacked in the trivet with the same method and they were all perfect too! So much better than boiling

I did eggs in my bigger instant pot and 5-5-5 worked fine but in my 3 quart they are overdone if I do the same so I have to lower the time to 3 for softer yolk and 4 for harder yolk but even 4 is pushing it.

@stephen583 I started out with a 6 quart as well but I found a deal on a 3 quart and it's really handy. It takes up less space and I can do 90% of the things I need to do in it. Definitely worth looking into.
