Seeking Ideas for Feeding 35-40 People After Wedding Rehearsal at Remote Venue

@evanhall90 I should have mentioned the wedding is having bbq plus we are from Kansas City and are kind of snobs about alot of other bbq ( nervous about the wedding.....hahaha)

I would keep it light, maybe sandwich meat trays (ham, turkey, roast beef with assorted cheeses) with chips, potato salad or pasta salad as sides. Most are not going to want to eat alot if they will be doing dessert and drinks on the cruise.

We did hibachi for our son and DIL’s.. make rice ahead of time in the instant pot.. lots of rice!! We made a show if it by ordering our two “chefs” the jacket and hat off Amazon. They did the hibachi tricks..on two black stone grills. Meat was chicken, steak and shrimp just like the hibachi restaurant Seasoning is sesame seed oil, teriyaki , butter, oyster sauce, peas carrots, onions, soy sauce. Decorating was fun too, with the lanterns, chop sticks.

Our daughter did a spaghetti dinner with salad and garlic toast. Also had some of the dance numbers that were going to play at reception and a few good dancers to teach people how to do them. It was a blast! As much fun as the wedding and reception . The kids made sundaes.

Make your life easy and do something like walking tacos, meatballs with toothpicks in them. A taco/nacho bar is usually popular. If you serve all the ingredient in lidded containers cleanup is a breeze. Just put the lids on and go
