This is awesome!! How old is your son? Thinking about getting my 5 yo into cooking in the IP, of course, mainly just helping me until he gets older.

@diamondedge1 he is 9 but we have little man that is 7 that loves learning to cook with the Instant Pot also Mac n Cheese is his favorite to make

@diamondedge1 There were no Instant Pots around when my grandkids were little but my oldest grandson always enjoyed helping with meal prepping - he was peeling and chopping vegetables by the time he was 4- and he's never been a picky eater - he's now a real chef! I think kids are more likely to try new foods if they're involved with the cooking - go for it!

@diamondedge1, there are some wonderful "plastic" knives that are sharp enough to do lots of food prep, yet still be safe enough for supervised little ones.
