Sloppy Joes, shredded beef, or pulled pork in the crockpot, Italian sausages, brats or Polish sausages - brown ahead and keep warm in crockpot. Could have appropriate toppings such as marinara and peppers and onions or sauerkraut, respectively. Fruit or potato salad. Everything can be done ahead. Worked great for graduation parties.

Potato-tinis. Buy a gazillion random martini glasses at thrift. 25 cents, no more than 1 dollar each. Make massive amounts of buttery, creamy mashed potatoes in the instapot. Accompany with every topping you can muster. Standard baked potato toppings, taco theme, steamed broccoli, gorgonzola, bacon crumbles, cheddar shreds, sautéed mushrooms, caramelized mushrooms.
Guests grab their favorite glass, plop in a scoop of hot mashed potatoes, add their favorite toppings.....voila. Very easy to walk about, talk with others while eating with a spoon. Very low fuss. Delicious!
