@atheist_jc - 2 things to look out for to keep this from happening: First, make sure to deglaze the bottom of the pot fully, so there’s zero brown bits on the bottom of the pan from the sautéed meat. Second, do not stir the pasta and sauce with the meat. Leave it layered with the sauce on top.
@axolotl - Sauce on the bottom = burn message. Deglaze with a part of your liquid (not sauce). After deglaze, put pasta above the sautéed ingredients, then the rest of the liquid until pasta just covered. Then the sauce and do not stir. No burn message.
