Random- but making yogurt is now my favorite use of the IP. The texture and flavor is so much better to me than store bought. For a $3 gallon of whole milk, I get a 2 quart yield. Fantastic.
I make it in the it and transfer to these single servings. Perfect. I use them to make dips, smoothies, add fruit and eat, they freeze and keep well in fridge
I make mine in the pot with 1/2 gallon of milk. After 8 hrs I strain it through a coffee filter in my colander over night. Then I put it into a quart jar.
