L liamkincaid New member Sep 8, 2024 #62 @c0ndy water! Sometimes a can of diced tomatoes if I want more tomato flavor. Usually 8-9 cups of water is enough. I don't overfill the IP mainly and consider how thick I want the soup to be. Usually 2:1 ratio for water to beans is a good standby.

A aver New member Sep 8, 2024 #67 Do you put all the ingredients in the bags? So you grab it and into the pot it goes?
L liamkincaid New member Sep 8, 2024 #68 @aver I do! If I run out of something, I just make a note to add it when I put it in the IP.
B bextermojica New member Sep 8, 2024 #69 Do you add the dried beans when you cook the soup or into the prepped ingredients?
L liamkincaid New member Sep 8, 2024 #70 @bextermojica I add the dried beans into the bag after rinsing. They cook great in the IP!
J jake49 New member Sep 8, 2024 #71 @liamkincaid When you add the dried beans, how many minutes under pressure, and natural pressure release?

L liamkincaid New member Sep 8, 2024 #72 @jake49 Usually 30 minutes and fast release. I use the soup button on mine.
J jtankers New member Sep 8, 2024 #74 @liamkincaid how is the soup button different from the pressure cook button? I have never used it. Ty. Looks great.
