Sharing Egg and Pumpkin Water with Plants: Unexpected Growth Boost!

So I think everyone knows that after you cook your eggs you save the water for your plants. Yesterday i cooked up a little pumpkin (“whole” in my instant pot 6 min natural release) that i had left over from Halloween. I thought why not share that water with my snake plant. I swear it grew 2 inches and went a lovely dark green. Love my iPot.

What an amazing idea! I have several and one of my snakes is huge. Almost as tall as I am. I struggle getting the right nutrition for it so I'm going to try this.

I didn't KNOW about this. Thanks for sharing. Will keep it in mind for the next time. To save the water from things like eggs and pumpkins etc.

I soak banana peels in water for a day and use that to water - great nitrogen/phosphorous boost! Love these tips!
