@sidhe54 just soak? Don’t have to boil or anything? I just cut up my over ripe bananas and put in the freezer for smoothies and have 4 skins!

I let the ice water I used to cool off eggs come to room temp along with IP egg water and water my outdoor plants with it. Also use water from veggies too.

I did that today with potato water, and green bean water.

We called that plant 'Mother in Law's Tongue'.

@wolfgang85 I believe a snake plant is the one with yellow edges on the leaves. Mother in Law's Tongue is without the yellow edges.

@janmargaret04 - I can't remember what contrasting color ours was - I managed to kill it 25-26 years ago. Container planted, probably 3 feet tall in (at least) 18" diameter pot. Want to kill a plant? - let me take care of it for a while. Husband says I can kill fake silk plants.
