We do the same every year! Here is my daughter putting the finishing touches on them! My mom did this for us growing up and I’ve carried on the tradition with my kids!

Such deep colors! Very pretty what kind of dye did you use? I have never seen them that dark with regular food coloring

@jeri1234 I always let them sit in the bags for at least an hour so they get darker

@jeri1234 I put my whites in ziploc bags and fill with water then add the coloring. So I let them soak a while in the bags

I may want to try dyeing egg whites in the future. It never occurred to me that I could. Though now that I think of it, I remember peeling Easter eggs where the whites had a bit of color that seeped in.

@tigerprincess that’s what I use is the eggs we dyed with shells on.. sometimes color seeps through. I never though to do it this way
